Re: Logitech C270 3D printer brackets

That could be improved in software, I think (I need to try). Currently, it doesn't really handle other resolutions than the standard cameras, but there is really no point to process all of the image when doing most measurements; if the circle we are looking for is not near the center to begin with,...

Re: Logitech C270 3D printer brackets

I ruefully returned back to the original camera solution after trying to get the down cam recognition to work with the c270. Main problem: the depth of field. Using maltes tape strip feeders my components are approx. 10mm above the table. The PCB is on the table so the printed surface is approx. 1.6...

Re: Spring loaded adapter affecting nozzle height calibratio

I have no experience with the luer lock needles, but this auto change system seems brilliant in comparison! That is true! I can only thank Juha for the new nozzle solution. :D :D The only problem I currently have is that two of the six nozzles have a significantly higher friction and need a lot of ...

Re: Spring loaded adapter affecting nozzle height calibratio

As you can see from my picture in http://liteplacer.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=382 I am using Juhas double spring solution which I seem to have intuitively adjusted right, as the z-Axis probe function worked immediately just the way it did with the old needle head. Calibration of table height...

A nice tool to readout TinyG Parameters and more....

By mere coincidence I tripped into the following GitHub project: https://github.com/x893/CNCGUI The name gives no clue that it specially drives a TinyG and contains an as far as I can see complete display of all TinyG parameters. The author did a very fine work by adding tool-tips to almost all fiel...

No Go Zones when using Nozzle Changer

I just took a look at Juhas new picture of the nozzle holder mounted onto the table. Wherever you place the changer it could be in the path of the nozzle if the nozzle is not far enough retracted up. Either when you are jogging or are moving to a stored location. For example I currently have set the...

Re: Compute stick

If you look at what OpenPnP does for visually aligning and rotating parts this takes more than half a dozen complex OpenCV graphics operations that optionally use video graphics hardware (EmguCV). So yes, The software will run on less powerful PC. Just try it! But keep in mind that even then the app...

Re: Logitech 270 depth of field

I made some PCB holders, which elevate the boards to the same Level as my strip feeders. I also elevated the visual homing mark with small 3D printed block - Well thanks to Cubify3D printing PCB Holders will then also be my first and fast option. That will additionally give a good reproducible PCB ...

Logitech 270 depth of field

Inspired by malte I replaced the standard up-cam with a Logitec 270 concealed in maltes ingenious 3d printed up camera case. That worked out very well. The logitec driver also seems to be more robust and restarts more easily than the original cameras driver. Therefore I now replaced the down-cam but...

Re: Compute stick

If you want liteplacer performance you need a powerful video / graphics hardware. Check that before you invest time and money.
